Case Study : Forward Purchase Deal (Volume: ca. EUR 35 Million) for BMW Group Design Centre in Munich.
In 2006, EPI forward purchased the new BMW Group Design Centre on behalf of a group of Irish investors with the help of financing provided by an Irish bank. Over the following two years, EPI supervised the build and once completed oversaw the handover to BMW, provided management services for the client for another 10 years.
During this time, the banking crisis hit Ireland but EPI were able to successfully facilitate a refinancing through a German bank that allowed the client to retain ownership up until 2018 when EPI successfully brokered the sale of the asset.
